Choctaw Residential Center is a dually certified skilled nursing care facility with one hundred and twenty beds. The Mississippi Band of Choctaw Indians opened the facility in 1987, while Chief Phillip Martin was in office. Chief Martin had the desire, and saw the need, to provide quality care to the elderly. Choctaw Residential Center still provides the same quality care, for tribal members and surrounding communities, that was only a vision years ago.
Choctaw Residential Center is dedicated to providing the highest quality care and service to its residents, providing a home-like environment to help the residents be comfortable, and protecting their rights as residents.
In addition to being a long-term care facility, Choctaw Residential Center offers a short-term rehabilitation program for recuperation after surgery or after an accident or illness.
